Double Entry Journal #4: A Textbook Case of What’s Wrong with Education

The use of all the latest technology and digital media are changing the world every second of every day. Therefore, we need to find new ways of utilizing this technology and digital media in order to change the ways in which we teach. If we continue to teach in an “old school” manner then our students will never be ready to face the world around them or be successful for that matter.
2.      
As a visual learner, the lack of some of the visual aids made the lecture hard for me to keep up with. Trying to just listen and make sense of everything while he was just talking was difficult. If there had been some visual aids or visible text, I may have been able to better understand and make more sense out of what was being said. This was the only really confusing thing about this selection for me.
3.      
I agree with the overall theme or idea of this selection. Education needs to and must be changed. That is when it comes to the ways of teaching, what is taught, etc...
